P-N 625 PTA
General Information
PT-MAT™ N 625 PTA is a Ni based metal powder used for corrosion resistant coatings. the weld overlay exhibit
high strength and excellent corrosion resistance in a wide range of temperatures.
Applications
PT-MAT™ N 625 PTA is applied through plasma powder surfacing or laser cladding on low alloy to high alloy steel. Typical applications are equipment in contact with sea water.
The alloy is also used as a buffer layer for hard facing on non-magnetic austenitic stainless steel in the oil drilling industry.
