XTRM OA
General Information
PT-MAT™ XTRM OA is an iron based cored wire for GMAW hard for extreme mineral wears showing a high scratch resistance and elevated hardness.
The alloy doesn’t produce any slag and will show optimum properties in 2 layers.
PT-MAT™ XTRM OA is a C-Cr-V-Nb-B iron based alloys forming some very fine complex carbides.
The part should be pre-heated and slow cooled after application for best results.
Applications
PT-MAT™ XTRM OA is used extensively in mining, concrete pumps and cement plants (clinker).
Hardness (outside dilution):
64-68 HRc.
