Pellex offers specially formulated proprietary coverings and coatings that offer excellent abrasion resistance and overall force resistance which allows accurate delivery of the strands to the cutting unit, producing consistent, uniform pellets. Available both as a rubber covering or ceramic coating formulated specifically for the top and bottom feed positions for strand pelletizing systems.
Rubber
Resistant to compression set, the durable covering also allows quick recovery when subjected to high load pressures. Formulated as a long-wearing covering that won’t contaminate pellets.
Ceramic
Durable, long-wearing ceramic coating with excellent abrasion resistance. Can replace the knurled steel feed roller found in most pelletizing equipment.
