Thermal spray aluminum (TSA) coating are used to protect the exterior of process vessels, tanks, and other equipment in onshore and offshore oil and gas rigs, processing plants. Manufacturing facilities in the paper, oil and gas, petrochemical, refining, and other process industries utilize this coating to prevent corrosion. The carbon steel exterior shell of many of these units operates in a cyclic manner, with ambient temperatures as high as 350 degrees F and often in contact with wet insulation.
In addition to these applications, TSA is also used on decorative railing, beams and other fabrication components. This technology is used for bridge and structural steel components to prevent corrosion.
